Now that I've had time to settle into the swing of things, as it is said, it is clear that things aren't so different here. The same politics, the same overburdened and underpaid workers, and the same joy of taking criminals off the streets and making the country safer one arrest at a time.
I do miss my family, but I've begun to make several new friends here as well. Do let it be known that I am always available for tea or an evening at the pub. |
